Operation Christmas Child, N Central WI

Operation Christmas Child is a ministry of Samaritan's Purse.  The North Central Wisconsin Collection Center collects shoebox gifts from north central Wisconsin and prepares them for transport to the processing center in Minneapolis.  These gifts represent a gospel opportunity for children in developing countries, their families, and their communities.

Operation Christmas Child provides an opportunity for individuals of all ages to be involved in a simple, hands-on missions project that reaches out to suffering children while focusing on the true meaning of Christmas- Jesus Christ, God's greatest gift. This program sends a message of hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes and Christian literature. In 2012, Operation Christmas Child collected over 9 million shoeboxes worldwide and distributed them to children in about 95 countries. Operation Christmas Child has distributed over 93 million shoeboxes since 1993.
