Volunteer: Fundraiser for Boy Scouts of AmericaBoy Scouts of America is the most proven and successful youth program in America, and the Samoset Council currently services over 6,000 youth in north-central Wisconsin. As a non-profit, we rely on the generous gifts from donors to keep this life-changing organization going. My name is Nicholle Miller, and I am a Unit Serving Executive with Samoset Council for the Stevens Point area. I am starting to form my fundraising team, and I’m looking for student volunteers. This would be a great way to gain experience in fundraising for non-profits, and to make a huge impact for the youth in the Stevens Point area.
The tasks I would like assistance with are; making presentations to families and community members, and meeting with potential donors directly.
There will be an official training held on January 8th, at the Samoset Council office 3511 Camp Phillips Rd, Weston WI 54476 from 6:30pm-7:30pm to kick off the campaign. There will be food provided.
