Answer the phone and record all staff requests for patient transport or escort service within the hospital and AMG Clinic. This includes the delivery of patient-related materials, including patient belongings, lab specimens, radiology films, etc. Must be able to clearly hear the staff request and to communicate to the PACE Transport Volunteer.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: | High school graduate or equivalent. Completion of training course provided by Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital, including, but not limited to the following: body mechanics, knowledge of hospital/clinic, location of departments and services, equipment usage, and patient safety. Completion of required performance checklists. |
Experience: | None required. Technical skills a plus. Customer service background a plus. |
Attributes: | Must be independent, self-starter with good communication skills. Multi-tasking skills a plus. Friendly, energetic, professional, empathetic personality, positive attitude. |
