Take A Step 5K Volunteers
It's almost SPRING in Wisconsin! and we need Volunteers to help with our Take A Step 5K run/walk on Wednesday, May 2nd. This years' 5K will start and end in Pfiffner Park again, so we will need volunteers from about 4 pm until about 7:30 pm. Volunteers can get involved in a couple of ways: those folks who would be available to help set up the course ahead of time, those who would like to help out during the event (hand out water, cheer for participants along the route, etc...), and folks who may be able to stick around afterward to help with clean up. It's a fun family event, that benefits our local community in a huge way, so join us.
See you there!
Please contact Melissa Marcoux at mmarcoux@capmail.org or 715-343-7126 to sign up.
The Take A Step 5K is a community event benefiting services provided for domestic abuse, sexual assault and youth in crisis through CAP Services Family Crisis Center.
The FCC has been providing these free and confidential services in central Wisconsin since 1978, and in 2016 alone, we helped more than 850 clients "take a step" toward a brighter and violence-free future.
