Move Some Earth Day is held each year, a few months before The Energy Fair. It’s a day full of various tasks which help to ready the MREA grounds in scenic Custer, Wisconsin for The Energy Fair as well as get Energy Fair materials ready.
The event lasts from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and takes place rain or shine. MREA will provide a tasty, full lunch. Typical volunteer tasks include gardening, landscaping, clearing brush, preparing food for The Energy Fair, painting picnic tables, preparing the MREA garden, assisting with office work, Energy Fair promotion, and more. Everyone is welcome. Bring gloves, tools, and your outdoor work clothing (please remember to dress for the weather too)!
