We could use volunteers under a category such as:
Fall / Winter Opportunities, Short Term Holiday Opportunities, & Long Term Needs
The Riverfront Arts Center is totally dependent on volunteers in the day to day operations and events.
Duties include:
- Gallery Assistant, greeting visitors, learn about the current exhibit
- Make sales from our gift shop and gallery (checks or cash, credit cards)
- Answer questions about the local area. (We have Convention & Visitors Guides.)
- Assist at receptions.
- Record keeping, manually and or using excel documents.
- Help with light cleaning and setting up of exhibits.
- Help take in art and return art as exhibits change.
- Distribute posters, and cards to area businesses.
We are always looking to add to our volunteer team. It is a great opportunity to meet people and help our community gallery. And we have fun too!
