Volunteer Needs From: United Way of Portage County Volunteer Center

HELP US GIVE THANKS With Our Club Members & Families at Our Annual Thanksgiving Feast!

Date: Wednesday, November 12

Location: Club sites throughout Portage County in Stevens Point, Plover, Almond, Junction City, Marshfield, and Rosholt

Volunteer Opportunities:

Meal Prep (carve turkeys, cut pies, etc): 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Berard Center in Stevens Point

Set up (tables, chairs, and decorations): 12:00 AM - 4:00 PM at the Berard Center in Stevens Point

Event Help (greet families, serve food, wait tables, clean-up, etc.): 4:30 - 6:30 PM at Club sites in Stevens Point, Plover, Almond, Junction City, Marshfield, and Rosholt

Many kids rely on our after-school programs for support which includes a nutritious meal. By volunteering to prep and serve meals at BGC, you are helping to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive, no matter their circumstances.   Your time and kindness can be a bright spot in their day!

Volunteers are needed from 2:00 pm - 5:30 pm Mon - Fri at both our Plover and Stevens Point locations, but we are flexible and can work with your availability! If you are interested, please complete our online application here: Volunteer Application (site.com). Once we receive your application, our Volunteer Coordinator will contact you to explain the next steps.

Thank you for your interest. We would not be able to have such a successful food program for our members if it were not for dedicated volunteers like you. 

The Boys & Girls Club needs your help to positively influence our Club members! Our Centers operate on weekdays after school until 6:00 pm or 7:00 pm and from 7:30 am - 5:30 pm on No-School Days and during the summer.

Our volunteers can help and hang out with the kids we serve during arts & crafts, outdoor sports, triple play (gym), homework help, and much more.
