Volunteer: Day Services VolunteerPurpose: The position of the Day Services Volunteer serves to enhance the ability of Day Services to keep our clients engaged in a variety of activities, supporting the organization’s mission to empower people with disabilities to achieve their work and life goals. Location: 41 Parks Ridge Dr, Stevens Point, WI 54481 Key Responsibilities: Assist staff or lead small groups or one-on-one activities and classes Get participants involved and engaged in the fun and social activities Offer a form of companionship to the clients Teach clients something that you are interested in such as music, gardening, pet therapy, exercise, etc.Responsible to: Rob Waters, Day Services Coordinator Time Commitment: Flexible, to be determined between volunteer and supervisor Qualifications: Reliability People person Willing to teach clients FriendlySupport: General training for all volunteers is provided by the Senior Director of Program Services.
