We are an independent, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, working within the nine Central Sands counties. We are governed by a Council of county delegates, who work together to bring a variety of conservation-related projects to fruition. Our volunteers are the cornerstone of our many achievements in conservation. Some of our projects include: teaching groundwater lessons in classrooms, hosting educational workshops and festivals, coordinating Community Work Parties, working on biological control projects, producing public education/assistance materials and more!
What We Do
Vision: To make Central Wisconsin a better place to live and work through cooperative efforts. Mission: Manage natural and human resources in ways consistent with sound conservation principles by working across county lines to address local concerns.
