We are excited to be holding out annual High School State Theatre Festival at UW-Stevens Point on Nov 20-22. We are seeking volunteers to help as Ushers for the presentations.
Each presentation lasts up to 40 minutes with a break between shows for ushering out the audience and bringing in the next audience. The ushers would simply need to either check for wristbands of students/adults or collect tickets from those without wristbands.
Once the audience is seated, Ushers would then be able to watch any show that is being presented in their assigned theater. At the end of the show, Ushers would then open the doors to let out that show.
We are seeking 4 volunteers for each season, which are:
Thursday: 2pm - 7pm (arrive no later than 1:30pm for instruction and assignment)
Friday: 8am - 1pm (arrive by 7:30am for instruction and assignment)
Friday: 2pm-7pm (arrive by 1:30 for instruction and assignment)
Saturday: 8am - ? (arrive by 7:30am for instruction and assignment) Depending on how many schools we have qualify for the contest we may have an afternoon session on Saturday.
