This is our annual Car Seat Recycling day and Safe Kids Day at the Stevens Point Fire Department. We will be recycling old car seats.
We need volunteers to greet people and carry the car seats from the cars. We need others to disassemble the car seats. This includes stripping the harness and pads off and getting metal off the plastic, carrying pieces to recycling bin or dumpster and general clean up.
We also need volunteers to play Safe Kids Day games with the children attending. We will have the games set up at tables with prizes.
We also have a costume for a volunteer to wear!
