Help CREATE Portage County prepare for one of most infamous experiences of the year, Trivia Unplugged! Volunteers are needed to help assemble team registration packets in advance of the event.
The date for packet assembly is set for Tuesday, September 19th but we are happy to accommodate a date and time that works best for volunteers.
About the event:
Trivia Unplugged is a fundraising event for CREATE Portage County. It’s an old-school trivia contest with a twist – it’s entirely unplugged! Competitors are challenged to rely on their own brain power and teamwork to answer questions. No books, notes, phones, computers, or any other electronic devices are allowed.
Quizmaster Jim “Oz” Oliva hosts the event in partnership with the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point campus radio 90FM. The Mid-State Sisters of Skate roller derby team collects trivia answers on roller skates, and a cash bar and buffet food service by Rockman’s Catering is available for players and spectators.
