Short Commitment Volunteer Opportunities
The Family Crisis Center has opportunities for individuals who are looking to volunteer for short periods of time (2-4 hours per week on an ongoing basis) to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment at our domestic violence shelter. Some of the tasks that a volunteer might be asked to preform include: household cleaning, clerical duties, organization of storage spaces, preparation of TLC packages, and light landscaping. Because of the unique needs of our clients within a shelter for folks affected by domestic violence, we are only able to accommodate volunteers that can commit to at least a year of volunteering.
If you are interested in volunteering at the Family Crisis Center’s domestic violence shelter, please contact Daryl Woods, FCC Services Division Coordinator at 715-343-7114 or dwoods@capmail.org for more details.
