Please join us in celebrating our vibrant local food community by volunteering at our 11th annual Local Food Fair! This premier event brings together producers, consumers, local businesses and educators from all over Central Wisconsin! Within the fair we host a Farm to Fork Competition where local chef's create a specialty potato dish as well as an Information and Marketplace for exhibitors to share their products and programs.
The Fair will be held at SentryWorld on February 8th and open to guests from 11:00 am-4:00 pm.
We are looking for some eager volunteers to help February 8th to pack up Farmshed's equipment and travel to SentryWorld to help unload and set up the Fair.
This shift requires:
- some heavy lifting
- ability to travel from Farmshed 2.5 miles to SentryWorld (601 Michigan Ave N, Stevens Point, WI 54481)
- Warm attire for loading equipment from Farmshed building to nearby truck
All volunteers receive one free potato of their choice (plain baked with toppings or a signature creation from one of our local chefs!) at the Fair and the chance to purchase a Farmshed T-Shirt at a reduced rate.
