Portage County Literacy Council, Inc.

Literacy provides adults with the opportunity to fully participate in our community - as parents, neighbors, employees, students, and friends. Our mission is to help Portage County adults develop the basic math and English literacy skills necessary to achieve economic self-sufficiency and community integration. We provide one-on-one tutoring and small group instruction to immigrants and refugees learning English. We also serve native English speakers who want to improve their reading, writing, and/or math skills in order to achieve their goals. 

Portage County Litearcy Council, Inc. is a non-profit agency dedicated to providing adult education opportunities to those in our community who need it most.
