Work with an adult in our community to improve their English language skills so they can understand more at work, read to their child, become a US citizen, participate in the community, and more! Tutors can tutor in-person at a public lo cation or online via Zoom. Pick a schedule that works for you, and we'll find you the right learner. Most matches meet once or twice a week for 1 to 2 hours.
Volunteers must be willing to learn tools that make tutoring productive and fun. The PCLC provides training, materials, and ongoing support. We'll show you have to use a curriculum that fits your learner's language level. Work together to help your learner achieve their goals. In addition to teaching, many tutors express that they learn a lot from their learners.
