Heritage Park preserves and shares the stories of Portage County's past. A clean, welcoming environment helps protect our museum spaces and ensures every visitor has a positive experience. By volunteering as a cleaner, you'll play an important role in helping the Portage County Historical Society provide safe, enjoyable, and well-maintained facilities for thousands of guests, school groups, and community members each year.
Volunteers will spend 1–2 hours each week or every other week cleaning the public restrooms and museum spaces throughout Heritage Park. Tasks may include sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping surfaces, emptying trash, cleaning windows as needed, and helping keep the buildings neat and visitor-ready.
